The AI Navigators project is organized into three key phases to ensure effective development and implementation. Each phase focuses on specific goals, from project management and resource creation to classroom implementation and dissemination of results. Explore the phases below to understand how we are progressing towards empowering teachers with AI integration skills.
In the first phase, we will carefully select 20 AI Navigators— 4 navigators from each partner country. These navigators will be experienced educators with a passion for innovation in teaching. Their role is crucial, as they will lead the way in integrating AI into schools and serve as mentors for other educators. This phase ensures that the right individuals are chosen to champion AI in education.
Once selected, the AI Navigators will undergo comprehensive training to master AI technologies and their applications in education. They will learn how to implement AI tools in classrooms, create engaging AI-driven lesson plans, and use data to enhance student learning. Moreover, they will be trained in mentorship techniques, equipping them with the skills to share their knowledge with other educators and stakeholders, building a network of AI-literate professionals.
In this final phase, trained AI Navigators will step into their roles as educators and mentors, transferring their knowledge to teachers, school leaders, and policymakers. They will lead workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching sessions, helping other educators integrate AI into their teaching practices. By empowering others, the AI Navigators will foster a culture of innovation and ensure the sustainable adoption of AI in schools.
